Product Description

 

 

   potassium fluoroborate flux (KBF4) is used in aluminium-metallurgy, for the production of abrasives, soldering agents and ceramics, and in the chemical industry.

Potassium fluoroborate is used in the the following applications:

  • Aluminium-metallurgy:  
    as component in fluxing and grain refining agents  
    for aluminium and magnesium  
    as component in protecting salts for light metal castings 
  • Production of abrasives:  
    as active filler in resinbonded abrasives for metal treatment 
  • Production of soldering agents:  
    as component in fluxing agents for soldering and brazing 

   potassium fluoroborate flux  is used as a flux in the metal processing, surface treatment, and in the manufacture of aluminum, titanium and boron alloys. It is also used as a component for the fabrication of grinding wheel and abrasive disc to reduce the operating temperature, as a fire retardant for cotton and artificial fiber, and an erodent for the removal of exposed lead circuit board.
