A measure of the boron powder heat of combustion

Boron with high calorific value become the preferred size high-energy additive components. In order to heat of combustion of boron powder more accurate measurement, USES an oxygen bomb calorimeter, the SQ - 2 as accelerant, propellants is studied through experiments in quality, shape, and oxygen bomb oxygen pressure on the influence of boron powder combustion heat test result. Combined with boron two stage combustion model, and points out that the gas temperature is a key parameter to affect combustion efficiency of boron powder. Oxygen bomb is established a theoretical calculation model of gas temperature, the calculation temperature and the relationship between the boron powder combustion efficiency. Results show that the temperature rise limit is to improve the boron powder heat of combustion of measuring effective means.
